Our Team
Erica Yngve
President
Founder and chief visionary, Erica is the driving force behind the factory.
As a serial entrepreneur, Erica owns three other companies based in Tucson, AZ that are manufactured at Sonoran Stitch Factory including:
Bralessly – a fashion brand featuring products for women who want to live comfortably and modest. This start-up won Tucson’s 2019 IdeaFunding competition.
Postcraft Products – a 90-year old company featuring industrial sewn products for housing, healthcare, hotels & resorts, and cruise ships.
Palmfree Sunwear - sun protective gloves that are designed with an open palm, are fingerless, and provide much-needed sun protection while playing golf, tennis, pickleball, gardening, and any outdoor activity.
Originally from Tucson, Erica started her career in manufacturing and operations, and later worked as a partner at an import company. She has served on the advisory boards for the National Small Business Association and the Pima Community College Fashion Design Program, the public policy committee of the Tucson Metro Chamber of Commerce and is a member of Local First Arizona and 100+ Women Who Care. Erica received her MBA in operations management from DePaul University, and her undergraduate degrees in business management and German studies from the University of Arizona. Erica is a Flinn-Brown Fellow and lives in Tucson with her husband, three sons and two dogs.
Maggie Marquez
Production Manager
Maggie brings a results-driven mindset and deep industry experience to her role as Production Manager. With years in the textile field, she has played a central role in the factory’s growth and operational success. She oversees all staff while leading production, quality control, and customer relations with a steady, hands-on approach.
Maggie attended Pima Community College's Fashion Certificate program and immediately applied her training in a production setting. She works closely with designers, manages the production schedule, and oversees day to day operations with a strong attention to detail.
In addition to her core responsibilities, Maggie supports the development of interns and apprentices by guiding their daily workloads and ensuring program requirements are met. She lives in Tucson, Arizona with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.
